Legal Cashier – Conveyancing

They are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier due to the natural expansion of their business and the current team

If you are able to work well in a fast-paced accounts environment and keep your focus on the numbers, then this is a chance to work in a successful Yorkshire based Law firm based in its Huddersfield office.

Prior experience in Conveyancing is essential for this role

Responsibilities
When fully trained you will be an important member of the finance team with responsibilities that include:
• Processing daily banking, including banking cheques and reconciling card payments
• Administering company payments via BACS, CHAPS and cheque
• Purchase ledger administration (invoice posting, statement reconciliation etc)
• Assisting with month end processes
• Dealing with internal and external accounts queries.
• Supporting the administration team.

What the team is looking for.
A great deal of importance is placed on being accurate, honest and build trust that you can be relied on. They are keen to find someone who has a genuine interest in, and ability with, accounts who will learn quickly and enjoy supporting the team. You also need to be confident with IT and learning new systems which are integral to the role.
