The Trainee Assessor Role

As a TLC assessor you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of QCF learners achieve their Health and Social Care level 2 & 3 qualifications to the highest standard.

You will do this through monthly assessment and training sessions with each learner where you will be supporting, motivating, and encouraging them to achieve within the agreed time frames.

You will have a clear set of targets, departmental support and will manage your own diary to ensure you achieve your goals

You will be delivering health and social care qualifications from level 2 to level 3

  • 3 years or more experience at a senior level within adult health and social care and level 2 QCF is essential
  • Level 3 QCF in health and social care is desirable
  • The company will put you through your TAQA to enable you to become a qualified assessor

Additional Information

A laptop, mobile phone and tablet will be provided for you. Business mileage and expenses are covered by the company.

Both roles will be out on the road on a daily basis and travel will never be more than a couple of miles away from your home

Mileage is paid at 45p per mile

Salary information

The Trainee Assessor role salary is £21,600 and TLC will put you through your TAQA which is an assessing qualification

Once you have completed your TAQA, your salary will rise to £24,000
